# How do I change my password?

## If you're using an email and password to log in to Setyl, you can change your password directly from your account.

### How to change your password

To change your existing password:

1. Go to [Setyl.com](https://setyl.com/) and click **Log In** in the top right corner
2. Log in using your existing password or SSO
3. Click your **profile icon** in the top-right corner
4. Select **Personal Settings**
5. Navigate to **General** along the top menu
6. Under **Change Password** enter your **current password**
7. Enter your **new password**
8. Click **Change Password**

Your new password will take effect immediately. You’ll need to use it the next time you log in.

#### Password requirements

When choosing a new password, it must meet the following criteria:

- Must be at least **12 characters long**
- Must include **at least one uppercase letter**
- Must include **at least one lowercase letter**
- Must include **at least one digit**

### Forgot your password?

If you can’t remember your current password, you’ll need to reset it instead:

1. Go to [Setyl.com](https://setyl.com/) and click **Log In** in the top right corner
2. Click **Sign in with Email**
3. Click **Forgot Password?**
4. Enter the Company email associated with the account.
5. Click **Send me reset password instructions**
6. Check your email for a password reset link and further instructions

If for some reason you do not receive a password reset link please check your junk email or spam folder.
