How do I manually add a License?

To manually add a License:

  1. Log in to Setyl
  2. Go to Apps > All Apps
  3. Select the App you wish to add a License to
  4. Select Licenses & Assignees along the top menu
  5. Click + Manually Add New License
  6. Fill in the relevant fields
  7. Click "Add License" to finish

What if the License has no end date?

Set the Plan Type to Rolling instead of Fixed Term. Use Rolling for monthly subscriptions or anything that renews until you cancel it.

Can I use Licenses for things that aren't software?

Yes. Licenses work for any contract with a supplier, such as domains, SIM cards, insurance policies or support contracts. Add the supplier as an App, then add each contract as a License. See Can I track contracts that aren't software?
