# How is Setyl charged and billed?

Setyl is billed on a per Unit basis. Units are made up of People and Service Accounts.

**People**

Each Person counts as one Unit. People with a status of Onboarding, Active or Offboarding are counted. Archived People are not charged for.

**Service Accounts**

Each active Service Account counts as 0.25 of a Unit, rounded up to the nearest whole number. Archived Service Accounts are not charged for.

**How your total is calculated**

Setyl calculates the total number of Units every 24 hours to give a pro-rated monthly figure.

For example, an organization with 120 People and 10 active Service Accounts would be billed for 123 Units: 120 People, plus 10 x 0.25 = 2.5 Service Account Units, rounded up to 3.

People synced from your integrations count too. If your unit count is higher than you expect, check **People \> All People** for anyone who should be archived, such as former staff, shared mailboxes or test accounts.

**Contract length and payment options**

Setyl subscriptions run on an annual term, and you can lock in your price with a multi-year commitment. You can pay monthly, quarterly or annually.

**When will I be billed?**

- **By invoice:** most customers pay by invoice.
- **By card:** your first payment is taken on the day you enter your card details. After that, you're charged on the same date each month, quarter or year, depending on how you pay.

**Where can I find my invoices?**

Invoices are emailed to your billing contact. They aren't stored in Setyl. If you need a copy of a past invoice, or need to confirm our bank details, email [hello@setyl.com](mailto:hello@setyl.com).

**Which plan am I on?**

Your plan isn't shown in Setyl. It's on your order form, or you can ask us on live chat or at [hello@setyl.com](mailto:hello@setyl.com).

**Which features need the Advanced plan?**

The open API, accounting integrations such as Xero and NetSuite, and SAML SSO are only available on the Advanced and Advanced Managed plans. See our [pricing page](https://setyl.com/pricing) for what's included in each plan.
