Jamf Integration Guide

Set up the integration to automatically discover and import assets from your Jamf Pro device management system into Setyl.

Streamline asset management, detect shadow IT, and turn Setyl into your source of truth for IT with a connection to Jamf.

The integration allows you to automatically discover and import Jamf-sourced assets, together with their specifications, installed software and assignees, into the Setyl platform.

How to configure the Jamf integration

1. Log in to Setyl.
2. Make sure you have Owner rights.
3. Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
4. Scroll the page to find the Jamf integration, or use the search box.
5. Click Connect.
6. Input your Jamf URI without the "https://" (for example, mycompany.jamfcloud.com and not https://mycompany.jamfcloud.com).
7. Input your Jamf username and password. We recommend creating a separate account and assigning the "Computers" and "Mobile Devices" privileges with the "READ" access.
8. Click Save & Connect.

A few minutes after making the connection, you will find a list of Jamf-sourced assets under Assets > All Assets > Discovered Assets.
