Setyl integrates with Workspace One to help organizations automatically import and manage their assets. This guide explains how to connect Workspace One with Setyl, what permissions are required, and how the data is used.
How the Workspace One integration works
Once connected, the Workspace One integration allows you to discover and import assets from Workspace One into Setyl. Assets imported from Workspace One will continue to be updated and maintained within Setyl automatically. This helps maintain accurate asset records and reduces the need for manual updates in Setyl.
What data is synced?
Setyl will sync the following asset data:
- Asset : Name, Model, Serial Number, Operating System, IMEI.
How often does the sync occur?
Asset data will be synced from Workspace One every 24hrs and on initial integration. Data can also be synced manually at any time by triggering a manual sync.
How to configure the Workspace One integration
Prerequisites
Before connecting Workspace One to Setyl, ensure you have:
- Administrator access to your Workspace One UEM admin console.
- A Setyl account with Owner-level admin permissions.
Connecting Workspace One to Setyl

Navigate to Settings > Integrations in Setyl.
- Under Asset Detection Sources (MDM, RMM & other) locate Workspace One

Click Connect.

Follow the on screen instructions to obtain the Base URL, AW Tenant Code, OAuth Token URL, Client ID and Client Secret from Workspace One. Fill in the relevant fields.

Click Save and Connect.
Please note that it may take several minutes before data begins to sync after the connection has been made.

Trigger a manual sync
You can manually sync data from Workspace One by:
- Navigating to Settings > Integrations.
- Locate Workspace One under Asset Detection Sources (MDM, RMM & others).
- Select the 3 Dot Menu.
- Select Sync Now.
A manual sync can also be triggered by:
- Navigating to Assets > All Assets
- Under Assets select To Review
- Select the 3 Dot Menu located beside Filter
- Select Start Sync
Troubleshooting
If the integration fails to connect:

Double-check your Base URL, AW Tenant Code, OAuth Token URL, Client ID and Client Secret.
- Disconnect and reauthorize the Workspace One connection.
