Tips for using a barcode scanner

• Use a corded barcode scanner (opposed to bluetooth), to ensure a direct and stable connection.
• Ensure you have the correct programme configuration set, also referred to as the carriage return. This will depend on the application you are entering data into.
  Refer to the programmable configuration instructions in the manual of the scanner you are using.
