# What if I have a duplicate of a Person?

In the event that a Person is duplicated within Setyl, you have the option to either archive one of the profiles or merge the two profiles into a single record. As with all records in Setyl, People cannot be deleted, but may be Archived.

- Go to the Person’s profile
- Click on the “3 dot icon” located in the upper right of the profile
- Choose to either "Archive Person" or "Merge another Profile into this Profile"
- The Primary Profile will be listed at the top of the Merge tab as the "Merge Profile"
- Select the secondary profile to be merged into the Primary Profile
- In the event of conflicting data for a field the data from the Primary profile will be used
- Select Merge Profile
