What should I do with a duplicated Asset?

You may Archive one of the duplicates. As with all records on Setyl, Assets cannot be deleted, but may be Archived.

How do I avoid duplicates when bulk uploading?

When you bulk upload, Setyl matches each row to an existing Asset by URL first, then Asset ID, then serial number, and updates the match instead of creating a new Asset. To avoid duplicates, start from a Setyl export and keep the URL column as it is. If several existing Assets share a serial number, the row is skipped until you add the URL or Asset ID.
