[Integrations](https://help.setyl.com/integrations?hsLang=en) # Workday Integration Guide ## Setyl integrates with Workday to automatically import and sync employee data from Workday into Setyl. This guide explains how to connect Workday with Setyl , what permissions are required and which fields are synced. ### What does the Workday integration do? The Workday integration allows you to: - Automatically create users in Setyl based on Workday records - Import your organizational structure including departments and locations - Automatically keep employee records up to date and accurate within Setyl - Trigger onboarding and offboarding workflows automatically within Setyl #### What data is synced? Setyl will sync the following employee data: - Name - Phone Number - Company Email - Personal Email - Job Title - Department - Email address - Department - Location - Manager - Address - Join date - Leave date\* - Employee ID - Legal entity \* The **Leave Date** within Setyl is mapped to the **Contract End Date** within Workday.  If the Contract End Date is not present than the **Termination Date** within Workday is used for the **Leave Date** instead. **Note:** You can configure data mapping for specific fields, including mapping data from multiple integrations. For more information on configuring data mapping, see the [HR Integration Guide](https://help.setyl.com/hr-integrations?hsLang=en).   --- ### Setting up the Workday integration #### Prerequisites Before connecting Workday to Setyl, ensure you have: - The **Username** and **Password** of your Workday Integration System User (ISU).  Further details on creating an ISU can be found [here](https://developers.apideck.com/connectors/workday/docs/consumer+connection). - Your Workday **Tenant ID**.  Your **Tenant ID** is found in the URL when you are logged into Workday. For example, if the URL of your Workday tenant is https://impl.workday.com/{acme}/d/home.html, the **Tenant ID** is acme. - Your **Workday WSDL URL**. The Workday WSDL URL is used as the base URL for every API request. Find your WSDL URL in the online [Workday documentation](https://community.workday.com/articles/6120#endpoint). - A Setyl account with Owner-level admin permissions. #### Connecting Workday to Setyl 1. Navigate to **Settings \> Integrations **in Setyl 2. Under **HR **locate Workday 3. Click **Connect** 4. Under **Manage your integrations** search for Workday 5. Click **+Add** 6. Fill in your **Username** , **Password**, **Tenant ID** and **WSDL URL**. 7. Click **Save** #### How often does the sync occur? Employee data from Workday will be synced **once every 24hrs** and once upon initial integration.
