      Zoom Integration Guide

      Setyl integrates with Zoom to help organizations manage their Zoom licenses and user accounts. This guide explains how to connect Zoom to Setyl, what permissions are required, and how data is used.

      Connecting Zoom to Setyl

      To integrate Zoom with Setyl, follow these steps:

      1. Navigate to Integrations

      2. Authorize Access

        • Click Connect Zoom.
        • You will be redirected to Zoom's authorization page.
        • Sign in to Zoom (if not already logged in).
        • Review the requested permissions and click Authorize.

      3. Data Synchronization

        • Once authorized, Setyl will begin syncing data from Zoom.
        • The initial sync may take a few minutes.
        • After the sync is complete, you will see Zoom users and license details within Setyl.

      Scopes

      Setyl requires the following OAuth scopes to integrate with Zoom:

      billing:read:plan_usage:admin Returns information on plan usage for an account
      report:read:list_users:admin View users usage reports
      role:read:list_roles:admin View roles
      user:read:user:admin View a user
      user:read:list_users:admin View users

      What Data is Retrieved?

      Once Zoom is connected, Setyl will retrieve the following data:

      • User Information: Name, email, role, and status.
      • License Details: Assigned licenses, available seats, and usage.

      Disconnecting Zoom

      1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Zoom.
      2. Click Disconnect.
      3. Click Uninstall to remove its access permanently.

      Deauthorizing Setyl

      Alternatively, you can deauthorize Setyl by:

      1. Go to the Installed Apps page on Zoom.
      2. Find Setyl in the list of installed apps.
      3. This will revoke access and delete all Zoom data from Setyl.

      Refreshing Data

      • Data from Zoom syncs automatically every 24 hours.
      • You can manually refresh by clicking Sync Now on Settings > Integrations > Zoom card.

      Troubleshooting

      Issue Solution
      Zoom data is not updating Try manually syncing or reauthorizing the integration.
      Authorization failed Ensure you have admin permissions in Zoom.
      Missing users or licenses Confirm that the necessary scopes are granted.
