Can I track contracts that aren't software, like domains, SIM cards or insurance?
Use Apps and Licenses to track any supplier contract, renewal or subscription.
Yes. Apps and Licenses work for any supplier contract, not just software. Think of it this way:
- App = the supplier, for example GoDaddy, Vodafone or your insurer.
- License = each contract, subscription or item you have with them.
You then get the same cost tracking, renewal reminders, owners and documents as for your software.
How to set it up
- Click + > Add App and add the supplier.
- Open the App, select Licenses & Assignees, and click + Manually Add New License for each contract.
- Set the Plan Type: Fixed Term for contracts with an end date, or Rolling for ones that renew until you cancel.
- Add the cost, a renewal reminder, and any contract documents.

One supplier, several products
For suppliers with several products, such as Adobe, add one App for the supplier and a separate License for each product or plan. For example, add an App called Adobe, with Licenses for Creative Cloud All Apps and Acrobat Pro.
Getting reminders before renewal
