NetBox Integration Guide

Import your network infrastructure from NetBox.

Connect NetBox to import your network infrastructure into Setyl.

What's synced

Name, Model, Serial Number, Operating System, IP Address, MAC Address and Manufacturer.

Connect NetBox

  1. Sign in to NetBox and go to Admin > API Tokens.
  2. Create a new API token with read access to DCIM devices.
  3. In Setyl, go to Settings > Integrations, find NetBox and click Connect.
  4. Enter your NetBox Base URL, for example https://netbox.example.com.
  5. Choose the Token version:
    • v2 (NetBox 4.5 and later, recommended): paste both the Key and the Token.
    • v1 (older versions): paste the Token only.
  6. Save and connect.

After you connect

New devices appear in Assets > All Assets > To Review, unless you've turned on auto-create. See What are MDM integrations?
